JebBush.com Now Redirects To Donald Trump’s Website
Bush continues to trail Republican front-runners Donald Trump, Ben Carson and Ted Cruz in voter polls.
The ad, which ran in this weekend’s Miami Herald, calls Trump a “narcissistic BULLYionaire” and likens him to dictators Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.
The subject of Bush’s father, former President George H.W. Bush, came up, and Jeb Bush revealed that he learning more than he already knew about his father in reading a new biography about him written by Jon Meacham.
In October, Bush had responded to a tearful Syrian-American at a similar meeting in Bedford, New Hampshire, telling her that he was empathetic to the plight of Syrian refugees and that America was “duty-bound” to provide support. Titled “Latinos are Americans”, the 60-second spot highlights the ways in which Latinos have contributed to the “American fabric”.
On Wednesday, Trump released a Instagram video that spliced together George Stephanopoulos’ recent interview with the former Florida governor, in which Bush acknowledged Trump’s skills as a politician. “Looked like the eagle scared him a little bit”, he said.
“They got us into this mess, so why listen to them?” said Kim, a 49 year old from Highland, Ill.
Winston Churchill and Neil Armstrong would be welcome at his party, said Bush, but it was a firm no thanks on the celebrities.
Cullen is also a loyal Republican partisan, who says if Trump were to win the party’s nomination, he’d probably lose in the general election and drag down GOP candidates across the country. Paul Lindsay, a spokesman for the group, declined to say whether Right to Rise plans to put a particular focus on Trump in the coming weeks.
But this week, in its first TV ad hitting other GOP candidates, Right to Rise went after the national security credentials of Sen. “If there is any damage being done to the Trump brand, it is by Donald Trump himself”.
“But a yes or no, is he a better choice than Hillary Clinton?” the reporter asked again.
While this kind of redirected interest is inconvenient for the Bush campaign, it could be worse. In November, Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders’s 5,281 ads barely edged out those sponsored by Right to Rise USA. “He’s not a serious candidate, he’s not going to be elected and he’s dividing”.
According to the Associated Press, Trump’s spokeswoman claims his campaign staff was “not involved”. That was hard to do with all the questions about Trump, Sheryl Poor said. What is indisputable is that when it comes to policy matters and the art of governance, Bush trumps Trump by an unbridgeable margin.
