Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Wednesday after three-year engagement
The longtime couple tied the knot with little fanfare on Wednesday afternoon at their home in Los Angeles. The 39-year-old singer was spotted having dinner with Jennifer Aniston and their good friends back in May so they could be planning the songs for their wedding. A few of their friends, including Handler, will leave Friday to join them in Bora Bora. Other notable guests included fellow “Friends” alum Lisa Kudrow as well as Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres and Howard Stern.
“The guests were completely surprised”, the source said. Friends apparently thought they had been invited to the couple’s LA mansion for a birthday party for Justin, who turns 44 on August 10.
Cox was reportedly one of 75 people to attend Aniston and Theroux’s intimate wedding at their Bel Air home Wednesday. The cake had a couple of muppet-like characters – male and female – on the top drew attention and raised speculation.
This trip isn’t the first time Aniston and Theroux have been to Bora Bora. they reportedly celebrated his birthday there a year ago.
Aniston, 45, and Theroux, 43, met on the set of 2008’s “Tropic Thunder” in Hawaii, and began dating in 2011 while co-starring in “Wanderlust“.
Are you happy Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux finally got married?
Aniston has forged a lucrative film career in romantic comedies such as “Marley & Me” and “Just Go with It”, since the hit TV comedy “Friends” ended in 2004, having made her a global star.
The guests as well as the wedding photographer Terry Richardson knew well in advance that the celebration is actually the duos’ wedding and not Theorux’s birthday party.
Her hush-hush wedding to Theroux is in stark contrast to her lavish ceremony with Pitt in 2000, which took place on a Malibu clifftop with four bands, a gospel choir, fireworks and a reported cost of US$1 million.
So, how did the newlyweds keep their surprise wedding a secret?
