Jennifer Aniston Didn’t Invite Matt LeBlanc or Matthew Perry to Her Wedding
The two Matt(hew)s (sadly not David, who I’m not entirely sure even exists anymore) said they were happy for Jen.
Pitt and Jolie are probably Hollywood’s most high-profile couple and they could have thrown the mother of all wedding bashes. And that’s all I care about is that Jen’s happy.
Matt LeBlanc admitted to People Magazine, via Mercury News, at the Television Critics Association press tour in Los Angeles, where he is promoting Episodes, that he didn’t get an invite to his former co-star’s most recent nupitals. “She’s like, ‘I also told my best friend she could be in the wedding.’ I’m like, ‘OK, Coco, why don’t you just tell me what’s happening?’ I’m letting this be her thing”, Cox said.
“I’ll be there for you but can’t be if you need me at your wedding and I haven’t been invited to it”.
The 61-year-old revealed that Jimmy Kimmel officiated the ceremony while Howard himself gave a speech. “What are you going to do?”
Matthew Perry, 45, also offered the newlyweds his congratulations but claimed he had no idea that the wedding was happening either.
Aniston and Theroux pulled off the hush-hush nuptials at their $22 million Bel-Air home on Wednesday by telling guests it was a surprise party for Theroux’s 44th birthday.
Speaking of the Friends dynamic, Matt added: “Jen’s like my little sister”. “Courteney [Cox] and Lisa [Kudrow] are like my big sisters, but Jen’s like my little sister”. In fact, LeBlanc hasn’t even been able to congratulate the happy couple. That’s how it all broke down. The guest list ranged from stars such asJason Bateman, Emily Blunt and Sandra Bullock to other big names like John Krasinski, Chelsea Handler and Rachel McAdams. Despite not securing invitations to Jennifer’s wedding last week, the group are still good Friends.
