Jennifer Aniston starts life as Mrs. Theroux in Bora Bora
The wedding was held in the couple’s backyard and, as is the secret-wedding way, was disguised as a 44th birthday party for Justin Theroux to (at least some of) its 75 guests.
Fans of Jennifer Aniston have waited for years for her to tie the knot with Justin Theroux, and tabloids have alternately claimed throughout their engagement that they have split or have been married.
They also reported that a man believed to be a pastor and carrying a Bible was pictured at the venue as well as a giant cake fashioned with two large male and female Muppets inspired figurines.
Sources tell The New York Post the newlyweds and their friends are staying at the luxury Four Seasons Bora Bora, a popular honeymoon spot with numerous private bungalows built over the lagoon’s turquoise water.
Jennifer, 46, and Justin, 43, first met on the set of Tropic Thunder in 2008 and were linked romantically last May 2011.
We could not be more thrilled that Jennifer Anniston has finally found her happily ever after, congrats to the gorgeous couple! Some of the celebrities who attended the ceremony were: Howard Stern, Jason Bateman, Ellen DeGeneres, Tobey McGuire, Sandra Bullock, Jimmy Kimmel, Orlando Bloom, Rachel McAdams, Lisa Kudrow, Sia Furler, Samantha Ronson, Chelsea Handler, John Krasinski, and Emily Blunt, among others.
Well where there is Aniston there has to be controversies; apparently reports suggest that Aniston’s mother wasn’t invited to the wedding. The couple said their “I do’s” in front of more than 70 guests, which included their family members and close friends.
The cute couple won’t be alone on their honeymoon, however. A year ago, Jen and Justin celebrated their second anniversary and the actor/writer’s birthday in the tropical paradise.
Theroux stars in the HBO series “The Leftovers” and has had roles in “Parks and Recreation”, “Six Feet Under” and movies such as “Zoolander”, “Mulholland Drive” and “Wanderlust“, a 2012 film also starring Aniston.
