Jennifer Lawrence and ‘Mockingjay’ stars honor Paris at film’s premiere
Starting at Thursday at 7 p.m., “Mockingjay – Part 2” flies solo, at all of the theaters mentioned above, along with Marcus’ South Shore and Southgate cinemas; the Fox-Bay Cinema Grill in Whitefish Bay; the Avalon Theater in Bay View; and the Rosebud Cinema in Wauwatosa.

The premiere of the film in Los Angeles on Monday was scaled back in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris, with no interviews scheduled after the screening.
They showed solidarity by wearing red, white and blue ribbons – a nod to the French flag – which were clipped together with the Mockingjay emblem, the symbol of defiance and rebellion in the franchise.
Lionsgate studio had announced over the weekend that, in light of Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris, the cast wouldn’t participate in the usual red-carpet interviews.

Also appearing in the final film are Lawrence’s co-stars from the start, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, as well as Oscar victor Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman in his final screen role. “It doesn’t feel as much like making out with a family member”, Lawrence said.
