Jennifer Lawrence nearly asked Seth Meyers out when he was engaged

It turns out J-Law has a weird history with Late Night host Seth Meyers. Given that time has passed since her humiliation, Lawrence felt she could share the story.

Last Tuesday, Lawrence was face to face with Meyers again… this time, she was being interviewed by her long-time crush. “But years ago…I did ‘SNL.’ You were working there…I had a really big crush on you”, Lawrence admitted.

She added, “Then later in the week I was like, ‘I’m going to ask him out.’ I had created the romance in my head because I’m delusional. “I texted Amy [Schumer] the other night ’cause I was drinking wine and I was randomly watching ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm”,” she told Meyers. And so I was like, ‘Okay. “It’s so uncomfortable! I’m not gonna be like, ‘So, what do you think, are you gonna hump me once?”

The “Joy” actress hoped he would act first and ask her out.

“I had this whole plan”.

But when that didn’t happen, the “Hunger Games” star made a decision to take the romance into her own hands.

Jennifer Lawrence, who is, it goes without saying, just like you, has been there too.

She then shared her plans to give him her number to the “wardrobe lady”, who had to break her the news.
