Jennifer Lawrence says it’s ‘too soon’ to make ‘Hunger Games’ prequel movies
These follow up movies will be prequels and show the origins of how the Hunger Games were formed. According to Variety, Michael Burns, the Vice Chairman at Lionsgate, made the announcement to those in attendance at the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference which took place in NY last week.
I wouldn’t be involved. Because while she is certainly a big draw for the franchise, we wonder if it was ever viable for Katniss to come back at all, considering that Lionsgate is likely embarking on a series of prequel films set before Katniss’ first Games.
“I think it’s too soon. They’ve got to let the body get cold, in my opinion”.
