Jenny McCarthy criticises former co-star Charlie Sheen after HIV announcement
Celebrity Jenny McCarthy has added to her past controversial views about vaccines and autism, is now facing public criticism for her contentious opinions about Charlie Sheen’s human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) diagnosis announcement earliest this week on the “Today” show.
“I have been contacted by women with reference to Charlie Sheen and their rights”, she said. Appearing alongside Charlie’s physician Dr. Robert Huizenga, the nurse said she was well aware of his condition when they slept together. Since the interview, a lot of people expressed what they think about Sheen’s confession, and now, the actor’s ex Amanda Bruce revealed about her unprotected sex with Sheen.
McCarthy played Sheen’s love interest in the hit TV show between 2007 and 2011.
McCarthy simply played Sheen’s girlfriend on a few episodes of Two and a Half Men, and while that show has been known to cause physical illness, it’s only because of the atrocious writing. If I have to be upfront a herpe, how could you not be upfront about HIV?’ “Charlie was infected long after he left ‘Two and a Half Men”, Burg told People.
Speaking on her SiriusXM show, McCarthy, 43, said that she was forced to sign disclaimer forms on the show when she had a cold sore. I’ve paid people, not that many, but enough to bring it into the millions and what people forget is that’s money you’ve taken from my kids.
By the time McCarthy made her final appearance in 2011, Sheen’s character had already been killed off the sitcom.
He said: “I thought based on migraines and cluster headaches and sweating the bed for nights in a row that I had a brain tumour”. But if, as McCarthy herself acknowledges, it’s extremely hard to transmit HIV via kissing, why would an actor be required to disclose that status?
“Every actress (and actor for that matter) must disclose hundreds of personal health matters before ever being allowed to set foot on a film set”, she shared on Twitter. She also admitted that she had no idea what would happen next. Bruce also said that she’s HIV negative.
