Jeremy Clarkson says ‘much already sorted’ for new Amazon Prime motoring show
The journalist pulled out of the last series of the satirical panel show following the furore over his fracas with Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon.
James May has joked that his new motoring show with Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond could be given a risque name.
To be clear, May is busy with other stuff but Hammond, Wilman and I are extremely busy putting our new show together.
Clarkson also apologised to fans for being away from Twitter, as these were his first tweets since August 17.

James May had recently said that the three had got “nowhere” with the new show, but Clarkson contradicted him, saying these had been “very very very busy times” for him.
According to The Sun newspaper, new ITV motor show, It’s Me Or The auto, will feature people who are obsessed with cars – aiming for a target audience of the entire family – and has already filmed the pilot episode with a view to airing next year.
To be even more clear, filming starts in a couple of weeks. When the trio finally announced they will have a new show, speculation about their future stopped-but speculation about the new show began, including one major question: What will the trio’s new show be called? The Top Gear trademark was worth an estimated £150 million a year, thanks to a combination of live shows, DVD sales, and branded merchandise-and there’s no doubt the new show will have similar margins of merchandise success.
He said: “We haven’t got a name”.
BuzzFeed news made the suggestion after discovering that a law firm believed to be “closely associated” with Jeremy Clarkson had registered the trademark for the name.
What’s more, the trademark Gear Nobs was also registered, as well as Speedbird.
