Jeri Ryan joins ‘Arrow’ season 4
However, these two latest guest stars will be very familiar to some viewers. Doug Jones joins “Arrow” Meanwhile, “Teen Wolf” star JR Bourne has also signed up to star in one episode as DC comic book villain Double Down.
Double Down, real name Jeremy Tell is a metahuman who has the ability to turn his playing card tattoos into deadly weapons. The first is Star Trek Voyager’s Jeri Ryan playing Jessica Danforth, an old friend of the Queen family that has political aspirations and an apparent target on her head. Yet, throughout Ryans vast history in the arena of television, she has shown herself capable of pulling off quite a number of other potent, non-Borg roles on recent shows like Leverage, Body of Proof, Helix and was even surprisingly believable as the ass-kicking iconic femme fatale, Sonya Blade on the web series video game adaptation, Mortal Kombat: Legacy. But will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? Like most friends of the Queen family, she will be put “in the crosshairs of a menacing antagonist”, in this instance because of her political ambitions. It has been confirmed that Jeri will be starring in the second episode of the upcoming season, set to hit our screens on October 14th. The series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter.
Episode 2 has been confirmed. Darhk was alluded to several times during Arrow Season 3.
