Jessica Chastain Gets Punky For W Magazine’s November 2015 Cover
Jessica Chastain covers the November 2014 issue of W magazine rocking hot-pink hair and a punk wardrobe; see the wild makeovers photos here! People ask me if I want to be a Bond girl, and I say, ‘No, I want to be the villain.
No one whos been paying any attention can claim that Jessica Chastain isnt working her ass off. Since her breakthrough role in The Help in 2011, weve seen her in an impressive variety of films that sincerely deserve the attention theyve received. EON Productions could do a hell of a lot worse than Chastain as the villain, so hopefully they are listening. Her makeup look included heavily chiseled cheekbones (thanks to contouring), exaggerated eyebrows that appeared to be painted on and a classic red lip, which might just be the only part of her look we’d be courageous enough to copy.
No punny sex-innuendo names for Jessica Chastain. “They rarely say that about men”, she tells W in her third cover feature for the magazine.
Speaking about her own family, Jessica says her grandmother is her inspiration, because she was the one who pushed her to become an actress. “That’s something I would really love to do, and I’d also like to play Catherine the Great of Russian Federation”. “They never worry about “knowing” them”.
What do you think about the actress’ candid comments?
While most actors dream of an Academy Award-winning role, Chastain, who has received two Oscar nominations, has a different career aspiration.
On her boyfriend, Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo: “He’s a gentleman”. So different from the women we are about to see [at the Met’s John Singer Sargent show]. “That’s very important to me. No one in his family has ever been divorced”.
