Jets CB Revis uncertain to play against Eagles

In reality, it’s all about figuring out what Rams team is going to show up. With 30 seconds in between plays, after two minutes, the Eagles defense is back on the field. The Jets initially expected him to be out for about six to 10 weeks. If Brees does play, his results against a Carolina defense that ranks 31st in the league against the pass could say plenty about his arm strength and his ability to be productive with his ailing shoulder.

Honestly, it’s tough to say that any team in the division deserves mockery more than the Eagles do right now.

Inside? Things aren’t quite as strong. Rookie Jordan Hicks will start at inside linebacker beside DeMeco Ryans. And often. Darrelle Revis, Chris Ivory, Eric Decker and Willie Colon are all questionable.

Powell is a much different runner than Ivory. “We have to protect that a little bit”.

The two matchups against the Patriots (Oct. 25 in New England and December. 27 in East Rutherford, N.J.) are looming large. The way the Jets’ defense is playing, it might not even matter.
