Jewish Business News: Tell Jon Stewart to “F” Off
Before Jon Stewart ends his reign as host of The Daily Show, Comedy Central will stream every episode of the groundbreaking political satire online – free.
The producers of The Daily Show have invited Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and Donald Trump (among others) to record a segment in which they can “turn the tables on [Stewart]”, reports The New York Post.
Brilliant satirist… Jon Stewart has hosted The Daily Show since 1999.
Jon Stewart was in a celebratory mood on Monday night’s show, what with all the recent progressive Supreme Court decisions.
The segment will reportedly have a lot of bleeped F-bombs hurled Stewart’s way.
“Justices, senators, your problem isn’t judicial activism, or overreach, or politically correct policing”, Stewart said.
But for the real reason why Republicans have lost the marriage equality debate, Stewart turned to his favorite party standard-bearer, Donald Trump.
“If you are concerned for Jon Stewart’s welfare”, he told viewers, “as I am, and you see him on the street, gently talk to him about Fox News”.
The Daily Show is broadcast on The Comedy Channel in Australia. The Daily Show host also took the opportunity to lace into anti-gay opponents who warned of the apocalyptic consequences.
