Jill Stein has raised enough money to start #Recount2016 efforts
The Green Party did not single out an instance of fraud, but they do not need any examples to file for a recount.

“These concerns need to be investigated before the 2016 presidential election is certified”, she said. “The only thing that we have to gain is building trust in the electoral process and making sure we don’t have problems in the way it’s conducted”, he said.
The filing fee in MI – where Mr Trump has a razor-thin lead in unofficial results so far – is $600,000 due by November 30. They note that only a small minority of public polls predicted Trump’s success, and although public polls have been wrong before, the magnitude of their error this cycle was unprecedented.
Supporters of Hillary Clinton suggested during the campaign that leaks targeting the Democratic candidate were orchestrated by Russian Federation in order to influence the vote.
As of early Thursday evening, Stein’s campaign said it had raised more than .2 million toward a goal of $4.5 million to fund the three recounts.
In total, the campaign raised $2.5 million in time to reach Wisconsin’s filing deadline of November 25 and fee of $1.1 million.
In addition to the NationBuilder page set up for Stein’s fundraising, supporters can also donate to the recount cause through at least two state Green Party organizations.
Mr Stein’s campaign has now raised $2.7 million toward its $4.5 million goal. Within around 20 minutes, the sum had been increased to $4.5 million. The voting recount total amounts needed by state – along with the deadlines for each state – are listed as follows on Stein’s fundraising page.
Meanwhile, a recount will be held in the La Crosse-area Wisconsin state Senate race between incumbent Jennifer Shilling, the Senate minority leader, and Republican Dan Kapanke, a former state senator.
A recount wouldn’t change the outcome for Stein.
Trump leads Clinton in Wisconsin by a little more than 27,000 votes (out of almost 3 million cast), according to WisconsinVote.org. In Michigan, where the Trump lead is now just 0.3 per cent, the deadline is Wednesday 30th November.
Those three states had gone Democratic in past elections. She’s Donald Trump’s third campaign manager this election cycle.
It’s looking more likely the U.S. could get a recount.
Stein received one percent of the votes in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
On Tuesday, New York magazine reported a group of academics and election lawyers believed election results in the states could have been manipulated or hacked – by enough of a margin that Clinton could have won.
Over Twitter on Thursday, Stein ratcheted up the campaign, urging people to volunteer to help “monitor the recount process” in all three states.
The New York Times reported in August that a hack targeting the personal email accounts of Democratic officials was widespread and included Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
