Jim Carrey’s Late Girlfriend Was Married At Time Of Death, Medical Examiner

More details have emerged about the tragic death of Cathriona White, Jim Carrey’s late girlfriend, who was found dead in a suspected suicide at her Los Angeles apartment last week.

Her body would be released to Catriona’s next of kin, who was the unnamed husband, according to the LA Coroner’s office.

We’re told Jim paid for White’s entire family to fly from Ireland to Los Angeles and he’s paying for their hotel stay as well.

It is also being said that she had written in her suicide letter, the date of her breakup with Jim Carrey.

“She was isolated and she was going to begin separation continuing in December“, a source tells PEOPLE. The combination of the amount of drugs that White took had been proven lethal, according to a toxicology report.

“She had a husband and they were separated,” Ed Winter of the L.A. County Medical Examiner’s office said. He had no idea. It was also revealed that White had been undergoing a “purification process” through Scientology, which involved injections and staying in a sauna for over six hours a day.

White tweeted on September 20 about her “wonderful belated birthday dinner at Nobu in Malibu last night” with a photo of her dressed up ready to go out, but did not mention Carrey in her online post.

“It came in as a suicide, but we’re not noting it as such yet until we can confirm what was in her system”, the Medical Examiner official was quoted as saying.

The Church of Scientology disputed accusations that it had anything to do with White’s death, according to TMZ.
