Jimmy Fallon Gifts Hillary Clinton with Leftover Softballs from Donald Trump Interview

It was full of gag items, including a framed homage out to Vladimir Putin. He wasn’t going to change overnight, taping with Clinton the day after taping with Trump.

Jimmy Fallon recently faced criticism for his softball interview with Donald Trump, and responded in the most Fallon-y way ever. “Because, last I checked, he hadn’t killed off his adversaries”. Everything is lighthearted and for entertainment purposes on The Tonight Show, so why would you expect Trump to come on and Fallon would just start grilling him?

“This is a pretty beat up bag”.

Clinton has sought to make Trump’s glowing comments about Putin an issue in the 2016 election, arguing that if the Republican nominee is elected, he would be someone the Russian president could manipulate. Did the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” emcee learn from last week’s mistakes?

Fallon continued the bit by donning a surgical mask and using a hefty amount of hand sanitizer.

He also said that Trump was a “good sport” about it, as they only asked for his permission to do it when Trump got in for the show.

Fallon opened his chat with Clinton in hilarious fashion.

After Clinton, actor Terry Crews will also be coming on tonight’s episode of The Tonight Show to talk with Fallon. When Sara turned to Becky in surprise over the answer, Miley Cyrus nearly seems to come out of character to say that Joe Pesci is a really talented actor and even mentions a movie he is in. “My dogs were great, too”.
