Jimmy Fallon Injured His Other Hand Tripping Over ‘Some Random Girl’
If rabbits’ feet are good luck, consider Jimmy Fallon’s hands the inverse. People reported the late-night talk show host tripped and fell, hurting his right hand, after being honored by the Harvard Lampoon at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.
Luckily doctors saved his finger and he has been on the mend ever since, but unfortunately Fallon landed in the hospital yet again over the weekend. Variety reports Fallon was holding a bottle of Jägermeister after accepting the Lampoon award, when he fell and presumably sliced his hand open on the shattered glass.
One witness happened to capture the fall on video, and posted it to Instagram and YouTube along with a picture of the shattered liquor bottle.
“Everything is totally fine”, a source told People magazine. It looks like a cheap horror movie where you see a broken finger.
In June, Fallon was forced to cancel a Tonight Show episode when he said he nearly lost a finger to a freak accident.
The “Tonight Show” host is the seventh person in the magazine’s 139-year history who has been bestowed the Elmer Award.
Jimmy Fallon landed in the emergency room with an injury to his hand on Saturday, four months after severely injuring the other one.
Fallon shared a photo of his boo boo and band-aid and also a few photos from the award ceremony which included a traditional crown and parade.
