Jimmy Fallon nearly had his finger amputated after falling over a rug at home.
“Apparently, the odds aren’t great and usually they cut your finger off, but this guy did microsurgery for over six hours and had to take a vein out my foot”, Fallon said.
Delightful! But thankfully Fallon’s near-mutilation hasn’t kept him from having fun-last night he and guest Paul Rudd imbibed cocktails like peppermint schnapps and…gravy and tequila…as part of a boozy take on Plinko, appropriately dubbed “Drinko”. “I’m here to make you laugh”. “Trust me, I’m like, ‘Wait, what?’ I didn’t even look at the thing”.
‘So I wrap my hand in a towel and I get in a cab and go to the emergency room.
The complicated surgery involved taking a vein from his foot to help fix the finger. “I go, ‘That’s the guy who’s going to save my finger, ‘” he said. “I’m here to make you have a good time”. It’s a mad story!
“I think I’ve invented a new type of wedding ring”, he tweeted just before Independence Day.
In addition to the smorgasbord of liquids both delicious and repulsive, The Tonight Show’s Drinko was also presented as a perverted machine that continually asks Fallon and Rudd to “mount me”. “I want to spread the love”.
Announcer Steve Higgins revealed that he spent his time off in bed after he discovered he has Lyme Disease.
