Jimmy Fallon shares dentist-chair selfie after chipping tooth
Jimmy Fallon’s Summer of Self-Destruction is continuing unabated. This time, it’s his tooth!
An episode of “The Tonight Show” was canceled in late June after Fallon’s finger was almost separated from the rest of him.
Jimmy Fallon proved that he’s still on the struggle bus to recovery after chipping his tooth while trying to open a tube of ointment for his injured finger. He underwent surgery and spent 10 days in a hospital intensive-care unit before returning to work on The Tonight Show.
“The fall was amusing”, Fallon admitted during the July 13 broadcast. “I’m a comedian so I have to fall amusing”, he said.
Ironically the injury to his hand led to Fallon chipping his tooth.
The 42-year-old America’s Got Talent judge recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she gushed over one particular contestant. He appeared to have taken the selfie in the dentist’s clinic, more specifically, while on the dentist’s chair wearing a dental patient’s “bib”.
NBC announced earlier this month that the popular late night host would hold on to his position through 2021.
