JK Rowling’s incredible Twitter response to tweet from Donald Trump’s spokeswoman
British author J.K. Rowling, best known for her “Harry Potter” book series, weighed in on American politics Sunday, tweeting out a response to a controversial comment made by Katrina Pierson, the campaign spokeswoman for GOP front-runner Donald Trump.
JK Rowling’s world may be fantasy but her most evil characters do have a foundation in certain fascist ideology and acts of genocide.
Pierson’s four-year-old comments resurfaced over the weekend when Mediaite published a story titled ‘Trump Spokeswoman’s Twitter History Is a Goldmine of Embarrassment’. Any pure breeds left?
In December, Ms Rowling told her Twitter followers that Harry Potter’s arch nemesis Voldemort was nowhere near as bad as Mr Trump. I’m always getting called a half-breed.
“You’re telling me”, Stetler replied, that “that was just silliness?”
“I myself am a half-breed”, she continued.
Pierson was appointed as spokesperson for Donald Trump in November 2015.
Republican US presidential hopeful Mr Trump came under fire in December after calling for a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the US” in a campaign speech. The aide’s tweet calls out President Obama and Senator Ted Cruz’s ethnicities, accidentally (we think) making herself sound like both a racist and a Death Eater.
