JK Rowling Says Harry Potter Is ‘Done’ – But We’re Not So Sure

Wizards and witches the world over were beside themselves with excitement on Saturday night as the clock struck midnight and bookstores started selling sparkling new copies of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

The Boy Who Lived has now become an overworked father and Ministry of Magic employee, but is still holding on to his boyhood dreams.

J.K. Rowling explained that in these two plays, Harry goes on a big journey, but then the story is over, because this is the next generation that is being shown.

I think we can all agree that this is an unacceptable gift from a son to his mother on her birthday.

Rowling also expressed her admiration for the “Harry Potter” fanbase who did not spoil the story of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” ahead of the book release, BBC reported. Since January 2015, the industry has seen a 6.7 percent decline in revenue and e-book sales have gone down 25 percent.

At one point, Harry tells Albus he sometimes wishes he weren’t his son, which sets off the whole time-travel chain of events.

In the end, it’s not that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child isn’t good.
