Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber in New ‘Fuller House’ Photo
There’s been lots of news on the “Fuller House” front recently, and that includes some new, less depressing plot details courtesy of star Candace Cameron Bure.
Bure, who plays D.J. Tanner, said “Fuller House” starts off on a somber note, with D.J. being a widowed mother of three. Naturally, it’s a play on the original show’s title, but it also gets its name from DJ’s surname, which is Fuller.
“It’s just fun to see her as a mom and just to see what [kind of] mom she’s become and what kind of woman”. Whether they’ll have flashback scenes or anything like that, I have no idea, but we talk about him because you have to.
Nineties nostalgic Audiences should expect to see Fuller House come to Netflix sometime in 2016.
In 2010, the former child star lost 22 pounds, slimming down to 110 pounds through portion control and regular exercise.
In Fuller House, the adventures that began in 1987 on Full House continue, with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Cameron-Bure) pregnant and recently widowed, living in San Francisco.
“Love these girls”, Bure simply captioned the adorable photo, which Barber soon reposted, adding some hilarious hashtags: ““#friendshipgoals #squadgoals #whattheheckaresquadgoals?“.
“She’s actually not pregnant anymore”. The two twins were credited as “Mary-Kate Ashley Olsen” on Full House, and they only appeared together on screen in one episode, which was the final episode. “I remember putting on baggy overalls just to hide my stomach”.
Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, and Candace Cameron Bure were together for all eight seasons of Full House, and even though they’ve all kept in touch throughout the years, there’s nothing like a reunion of dear friends.
What do you think of the latest Fuller House plot twist? Tonally, it will feel the same as the original Full House, which is heartfelt and amusing and family-friendly, but it’s current. That last part has apparently been scrapped, though, as Bure explained.
