Joe Biden Is As Good As Go For 2016 Bid

As the vice president’s staff and supporters have spent the past few weeks putting together a preliminary organization and campaign plan, Biden and his wife have also been discussing the possibilities.

Biden’s decision to run, Stanford said, largely hangs on his “very real, very honest , and very public grieving process” that he’s working through after losing his son, Beau, to brain cancer.

And that looks more likely by the day.

While the first woman president would certainly be a change, it wouldn’t exactly make Hillary an outsider.

The race, however, has been largely characterized by an anti-Washington sentiment that has given rise to outsider candidates such as Sanders and Republican front-runner Donald Trump. The noteworthy thing query in that is nonetheless weighing on his mind as he decides whether or not to make another go of it: Does he have the emotional energy to bid it his all, sources allege. But patience is wearing thinner each day.

Jon Cooper, the finance chairman of Draft Biden, a political-action committee advocating for Biden’s entry into the race, said Biden has further support.
