Joe Jonas’ New Band: DNCE Jonas’ Newest Music Act?

The second video posted to Joe Jonas’ Instagram confirms the speculation from MTV.

It’s hard to believe that Joe is stepping away from his recent gigs deejaying to make new music with a whole new band.

Joe Jonas is making his big return to the music scene with a new band named DNCE and he is the frontman of course!

Joe posted a video to Instagram yesterday (September 10) that shows the word “D-N-C-E” flash across an outer space backdrop, while being simultaneously sung by some disembodied voices.

Besides Joe, there’s Jack Lawless, who the 26-year-old has known for YEARS because he used to be the JoBros’ drummer. But the name had some magic to it and thus we have DNCE’s first single. Joo has played guitar with Charlie XCX and Whittle is the bass player for Semi Precious Weapons.

As for more details, well…there aren’t any. However, Nick Jonas’ project around that time, Nick Jonas & The Administration, also didn’t garner much success, and we all know how well he’s doing now.

While not a lot is known about Jonas’ new band, we will surely keep you posted on the group.
