Johansson remains silent as she files for divorce
Following a rumored separation, Scarlett Johansson officially filed for divorce from her French husband Romain Dauriac. She’s taking the high road.
Scarlett Johansson wants you to know that she intends to keep the happenings in her personal life private.
But Page Six spoke with Douriac’s attorney to get details on a custody battle that could turn nasty.
Scarlett Johansson and Romain Duriac got engaged in 2013 after they were introduced by a tattoo artist.
“Because their child is so young, only two years old, the bias is still that young children belong with mom even though both parties are equal in the eyes of the law.”
The “Lost in Translation” actress declined to comment on the divorce.
‘He [Romain] believes that her schedule makes it impossible for her [Scarlett] to have physical custody – unless she intends to have her children raised by nannies and helpers’.
Dauriac is a former journalist who now works as a curator of art shows in New York, Mayerson said. The 32-year old actress told close friends that she was separating from Dauriac, because she did not share much in common with him. Though, when asked by Playboy in February if she was based in NY or Paris, she responded, “We still mix it up”.
She better pray a judge doesn’t Kelly Rutherford her!
A source said that they have been separated since the summer. Scarlett Johansson and Romain Dauriac were on good terms.
In court papers obtained by ET, Johansson requested joint legal custody of Rose, and that residential custody be consistent with the child’s best interests.
Following news of the divorce, Johansson released a statement to E!
News of their divorce comes after months of split rumours. “She is not going to wait until her divorce is complete”, our source said.
