John Stamos Enters Rehab, Seeks Treatment For Substance Abuse

The 51-year-old entered a treatment program for substance abuse, Daily Mail can confirm.

John Stamos of Full House and ER fame is in rehab for substance abuse. We never expected this from Uncle Jesse!

Many people were shocked to learn John Stamos had been arrested for DUI last month.

No further details were immediately available but the move comes just shy of a month after he was arrested for an alleged DUI in Beverly Hills.

He thanked fans for their support on Twitter following the citation.

He will appear in the upcoming Netflix reboot, Fuller House, alongside ex- Full House co-stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin and Bob Saget. According to a media release at the time, officers suspected a “possible medical condition” and transported him to a local hospital. Subsequent investigation determined that he was driving under the influence and was placed under arrest.

Kudos to John Stamos for seeking the help he needs.
