John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic Contract Plans Reported — Chelsea Transfer News
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that he does not have any “problems” with his players, specifically John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic.
Boss Mourinho could normally rely on Terry and Ivanovic to rally the troops in what has become the biggest battle of his career.
He was dropped by Mourinho for the win over Maccabi Tel-Aviv; and faces an anxious wait to discover whether he’ll be reinstated for the clash against Arsenal on Saturday.
But Mou responded today, saying: “As a player he did amazingly well”. Striker Radamel Falcao is also an injury concern for Chelsea.
“Maybe it was an agreement he did with some sponsor to promote the Rugby World Cup”, he added. He’s the best penalty taker in this country, too. He is my first option.
Since moving to the MLS over the summer, former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is now also doing some commentary work with BT Sport. “Just because he’s on the bench one game or I take him off he’s still one of my men”. I don’t know if Terry will start. “I don’t think the question is for me, I’m not trying to isolate individual players from the context”. And has much more to do with the effects of poor results.
“As a pundit… and what he said, it was untrue”.
“‘Diego Costa fought with John Terry and before they start the fight they brought a translator for them to understand each other, because Diego can not speak English and John can not speak Spanish'”.
According to reports, Jose Mourinho has instructed his scouts to begin searching for strong right full backs who can slot in immediately in the Chelsea first team.
“You lose matches, you are affected, you lose confidence, you don’t want the ball, you are afraid of the ball, you fear the bad”. The other direction you don’t go is the direction which is real.
