Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Working On A Settlement

The restraining order obtained by Johnny Depp’s estranged wife Amber Heard will remain in place until August 15.

On Thursday morning, TMZ broke the so-called settlement news, after weeks of nasty accusations involving abuse, substance dependency, and blackmail that have played out across global headlines.

AMBER Heard has reportedly lost 20 pounds due to stress, as court proceedings with Johnny Depp have been postponed until next month.

But according to TMZ, the 30-year-old never even showed up to the fitting.

Heard and Depp will reportedly agree to stay away from one another and will settle all divorce proceedings, including property settlement and spousal support. This could in turn lead to having to delay shooting her scenes until she can either gain the weight back or until the costume department is able to make any necessary alterations to the costume to make it wearable at her current weight.

Amber filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, on May 23, three days after the death of Johnny’s mother, Betty Sue. Let’s hope that Heard keeps hold of the role, as 2016 has been stressful enough for the young actress already.

Heard was granted the protective order on May 27 after submitting a sworn declaration alleging that Depp, her husband of 15 months, threw his cellphone at her face and hit her repeatedly. “During the entirety of our relationship Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me”, she said. A new court date will most likely be scheduled for sometime this summer.

While the fitting can be easily rescheduled, the issues between Heard and Depp aren’t so easily handled, so this might cause some other pre-production issues. “I know this because I went to their house. I saw the busted lip and the clumps of hair on the floor”.

Both Johnny’s daughter Lily Rose Depp and his former partner Vanessa Paradis have spoken out in support of the star, following Amber’s claims.

Heard has apparently lost 20 pounds due to the stress of her current legal situation, which was undoubtedly exasperated by a horrendous online backlash, so the producers are arguing that she’s now too skinny for the role.
