Johnny Depp bottle feeds baby bat in Jack Sparrow costume

Johnny Depp has not dressed up as Jack Sparrow for a treasure hunt this time, but the actor changed his avatar to bottle-feeding a baby bat. The guy looks exactly like Johny Depp from the Pirates of Caribbean reprising the role Captain Jack Sparrow.

A video shows the actor tending to the tiny ten-week-old animal in Brisbane, Australia.

Trish Wimberley from the Australian Bat Clinic has told how the female bat has already formed a close bond with the Oscar nominee.

“Here is a video of Dad bottle feeding his little orphaned baby”, states the caption accompanying the video.

The clip includes Depp speaking tenderly to the orphaned 10-week-old bat as he feeds her. “It’s so fantastic to see him showing a genuine interest, and helping us raise awareness for bats!”

Now, NY Daily News reported that he was at the Australian Bat Clinic and Wildlife Trauma Center helping the staff feed an orphaned baby bat.

The clinic also added that this particular visit “was at the end of a very busy day or shooting” for Depp, who came in full Sparrow gear straight from the set.
