Johnny Depp to Marry Amber Heard

The Mortdecai star, Johnny Depp and his fiancée Amber Heard are planning to get hitched next weekend. The two love birds met on the set of the 2011’s The Rum Diary and started dating in 2012, after Depp split from his long time girlfriend French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis, after 14 years of togetherness. Depp and Vanessa never married and share two children, Lily-Rose, 15, and Jack, 12.

The couple,Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, will reportedly get married on Depp’s private island in the Bahamas. The bride-to-be is expected to walk down the aisle in a Stella McCartney wedding dress. The guests will reportedly stay on a yacht over the wedding weekend. Speculations are that Depp wants the Rolling Stones to perform at the reception.

The island, Little Hall’s Pond Cay, is a 45 acres tropical paradise with beaches named after Depp’s children and his idols Marlon Brando and Hunter S. Thompson. A fifth beach reportedly is Paradis beach, named after his ex-partner Vanessa Paradis.

The Alice in Wonderland star, 51, and Heard, 28, got engaged last year and also threw a star-studded bash to celebrate the occasion. The impending marriage will be the first for Heard while Depp had a brief marriage with make-up artist Lori Allison. They got divorced in 1985. The Pirates of the Caribbean star dated Winona Ryder, Jennifer Grey, and Sherilyn Fenn, in the past.

Heard  and Depp’s relationship came out stronger when the two walked the red carpet together at the Texas Film Awards for the premiere of Heard’s movie 3 Days to Kill. Depp sparked wedding speculation during a press for his latest film, Mortdecai , where he was spotted wearing a traditional wedding ring. Heard was also captured wearing an impressive ring that was looking like a wedding ring.

The couple plans to get married over the weekend owing to their busy work schedules.
