Johnny Football reportedly spotted partying wearing a stereotypical movie disguise
We all know Vegas stories can get extremely insane involving celebrities. I know they’re bringing in a new regime and maybe for Johnny himself, if they give him a chance, it’s going to be a fresh start for him in that aspect.
Rather, the Browns quarterback was seen sporting a blonde wig, a fake mustache and glasses, while referring to himself as “Billy”.
Apparently, Manziel’s identity was revealed when he asked for his bill at the end of the evening to be comped to his room.
But he ended up paying with his card and signing the check, according to Moss.
By 3am he appeared to be enjoying the party scene that Vegas is known to offer.
ESPN’s radio affiliate continued that Manziel and his group found a table in a dark area in the club where they could remain relatively incognito. He ate – with the wig, stache and glasses – at an adjoining restaurant before entering the club.
Manziel then didn’t show up to concussion protocol on Sunday and couldn’t be reached by phone.
Manziel missed his mandatory concussion treatment on Sunday morning at the Cleveland Browns facility.
Manziel eventually made his way back to Cleveland on Sunday night or Monday morning because he was at the team’s exit interviews on Monday. “If you spend some time with him, he’s a likable guy”.
“In a quarterback league, the new coach and general manager will have to determine if Manziel can be a viable long-term solution for a franchise that has had one of the worst long-term quarterback situations in league history”, said Freeman.
I hope the fact that Manziel didn’t want to be with his teammates for the season-ending game was the last straw for the Browns front office.
In November, after a video surfaced of Manziel partying with a bottle of Champagne, the Browns demoted him from their starter to the third-stringer.
He also hinted that Manziel might not be long for Cleveland when agreeing with left tackle Joe Thomas that quarterback is vitally important.
Desperately, even. In fact, he said he came “that close” to taking Manziel with the 16th pick, but cooler heads prevailed and the ‘Boys drafted Zack Martin to help protect Tony Romo, he of the brittle collarbones.
As reports of Johnny Manziel’s off-the-field troubles continue to emerge, it’s looking more and more like the former Heisman Trophy victor won’t return to the Browns next season.
