Johnny Manziel has another ‘altercation’ with girlfriend

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend that required the Fort Worth police to be called, but no arrests have been made.

“He was not arrested”, a police spokesman said.

Well, so much for Johnny Manziel staying out of the headlines while the Cleveland Browns figure out what they want to do with him.

The Browns had no comment. He threw for 1,500 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions.

Manziel was seemingly on thin ice after all those incidents, and that reached another level when Cleveland hired Hue Jackson as its head coach January 13.

This isn’t the first time police have gotten involved after an incident between Manziel and his girlfriend, Colleen Elizabeth Crowley.

Recently, Manziel was seen in a Fort Worth liquor store earlier this month, less than a year after he entered an alcohol and drug treatment center.

In October, police in Avon, Ohio, got a call that a woman was trying to jump out of a vehicle on a highway and that she and a man were having an intense argument. Reports from Las Vegas reported that Manziel was in Nevada during the Browns’ closing weekend.
