Johnny Manziel reportedly demoted for lying to Browns coaches about partying video

Manziel was demoted from starter to third string on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, by Pettine, who was upset after a video emerged of the second-year QB partying last week in Texas while the Browns were off. After reportedly lying to Pettine about his whereabouts, the offer was rescinded, and Manziel was demoted to third-team duties.

Pettine was asked whether Manziel left town last week aware he was on a zero-tolerance policy.

The decision with Manziel could be a defining moment in the tenure of Pettine.
