Johnny Manziel Under Investigation By Dallas PD, Dropped By Agent

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is now the center of a criminal investigation launched by the Dallas Police Department following a domestic assault complaint that was filed against Manziel on Friday, according to ESPN.

“Detectives will thoroughly investigate the case to determine what criminal charges, if any, will be filed and victim services will be offered”, police said.

A police report released Thursday provided the first details of the altercation that took place between Manziel and Crowley, first at a hotel in Dallas and then as the couple drove back to her Fort Worth apartment.

A judge Friday signed a protective order to keep Manziel away from the woman for two years and ordered him to pay $12,000 in legal fees, according to WFAA. With his own father recently saying that he fears that his son won’t make it to see his 24 birthday if he continues this way and with reports that Manziel has refused rehab twice in the past week, the situation is looking more an more dire for the former Texas A&M quarterback.

The friend said Manziel has been working out at a facility in Dallas and is intent on getting back into the National Football League as a starting quarterback.
