Johnny Manziel wore disguise, used alias in Las Vegas

Johnny Manziel donned a blond wig and glasses during his visit to a Las Vegas night club Saturday, ESPN Las Vegas reports-and we may see video proof soon.

According to ESPN Las Vegas, Manziel was indeed in Vegas this weekend, but wasn’t looking like himself.

Manziel left without speaking to reporters.

“So, yeah, there’s a good chance – no matter who the next head coach is – that Manziel has taken his final snap in Cleveland”, said Ed Edholm, of Yahoo Sports.

“I think we will expect that of everybody”, Haslam said. “I’m not sure. I talked to him, just regular talk, how’s he doing, things like that, but I don’t know anything about speculation of what was going on”.

The name’s Billy, Billy Football… actually I don’t have a surname.. “Manziel also sat down at a blackjack table and a casino employee examining his photo ID exclaimed, ‘We’ve got Johnny Manziel with us tonight, ‘ according to John Hornacek, a 43-year-old casino patron who witnessed the exchange”. There is speculation that Manziel wants to sign with the Cowboys.

“I don’t know. I wasn’t (in Las Vegas)”, deadpanned Pettine after the Browns fell, 28-12, to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Cleveland on Sunday.

But as always, Manziel was a topic of conversation.

Manziel posted a photo to his Instagram on Saturday night, after reports surfaced of his location, in which he and his dog were laying on a rug. He used the hashtag (hash)SaturdayNights. He missed treatment on an injured hamstring the day before last season’s finale after being out the night before, then was banished to the locker room during the game. The 2012 Heisman Trophy victor started six games, and while he did show progress on the field, he continued to be a distraction off it.

“It would be disappointing”, Pettine said.

“My biggest concern is the guys who were out there today”, Pettine said. “If you spend some time with him, he’s a likable guy”. You root for him, but there are problems there. I think we saw it in some of the games this year.

Manziel entered a rehabilitation facility last offseason for undisclosed reasons. During a Sunday evening press conference, Haslam said that Manziel “was not [present at the team’s facility in Berea, Ohio]” on Sunday morning.
