Johnson votes ‘yes’, Baldwin ‘no’ on US Senate Obamacare repeal

The Senate passed a budget bill on Thursday that would repeal key provisions of Obamacare and block federal funding from going to Planned Parenthood for one year. The group denies the allegations.

Democratic candidate and Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders did not vote.

The vote gives Republicans their first real chance of putting a PPACA repeal bill onto the president’s desk, which would allow them to make campaign claims that they finally passed legislation to kill the program.
