Jon Snow’s new clothes might unveil a huge secret
Several theorists already pegged Kit Harington to make a comeback as Jon Snow on “Game Of Thrones” season 6 and have shared their ideas on how he could have been saved from the brutal stabbing during the season five finale.
Even though HBO President of Programming Michael Lombardo, insisted that the fan favorite is long gone during a panel discussion at Comic-Con in July, members of the cast remained secretive about the fate of the character when asked about Jon Snow at the Emmys last week.
So signs are showing that Jon Snow might get an even more important role in the series than what he used to have.
There were those pictures of Kit Harington’s flowing locks at Wimbledon, followed by that unique interview in a Belgian magazine where he dropped some very big hints about the length of his contract. “He be dead. Everything I’ve seen, heard and read, Snow is dead”.
As “Game of Thrones” filming for season 6 is ongoing in Belfast, there are some photos that appear which bring spoilers.
Interestingly, instead of wearing Night’s Watch colors (which is black from head to toe), Jon has a blue-and-brown padded gambeson that’s similar to what Stark soldiers traditionally wear.
Since the photos also show the crosses of House Bolton, there is a good chance that Ramsey and Jon will face off in battle in later episodes.
In the following scene taken from Martin’s A Dance with Dragons, the red priestess Melisandre gives Jon Snow an obscure warning about his “many enemies” before telling him: “It is not the foes who curse you to your face that you must fear”. There are many ways in a fantasy series to resurrect a corpse – and the fifth season of Game of Thrones ended by showing Melisandre, the redhead witch with magical power, who arrived at the Wall which is the campsite of the Night’s Watch. One of the photos had Jon Snow in costume and speaking with the crew. We won’t know for sure until the show returns (or Martin’s next book is released).
“Game of Thrones” season six is expected to premiere in April 2016 on HBO.
