Jonathan Cheban quits Celebrity Big Brother
“I’m so very sad… now I’m crying”.
Beginning to break down, she added: “Stardust has gone”.
She has been in the house since January 5 and opted to stay in after learning of her former husband’s death.
The two hugged it out and Tiffany said to Angie she was “sorry for her loss”.
The author learned of her ex-husband’s death hours after the public when she was told of his passing off-camera.
“I just feel like an era has ended with his passing”, she confessed. He doesn’t like me. “It’s nothing to do with you guys, I’ve just had enough”, he tells the other housemates. In her biography Backstage Passes: Life On the Wild Side with David Bowie, she said Bowie was “a right stud” who “could poke a hole in the wall”.
Jonathan admitted that he actually watched Gemma in the helicopter on I’m A Celebrity, and instantly knew that he would get along with her: “I thought, that’s my type of girl, that type of comedy is flawless”.
However, after she chose to stay in the series she informes the rest of the housemates that “David’s dead” – which caused U.S. reality star Tiffany Pollard to go into meltdown after wrongly assuming that Angie was talking about David Gest, also starring the current series of Celebrity Big Brother. “So how the f– am I going to think she picked up the newspaper and read that David Bowie has died?”
Angie, 66, who was Bowie’s manager when they got together, had not spoken to David for nearly 40 years.
The British show ran a short clip at the end of Monday’s show, previewing Tuesday night’s episode. According to The Independent, their filmmaker son Duncan Jones has been estranged from Angie since he was 13.
Angie and Bowie were married from 1970 to 1980.
EastEnders star John has taken it upon himself to rule the Borehamwood roost since entering the house last week, and frankly, Kim Kardashian’s best friend Jonathan isn’t a fan.
