Jordan Matthews avoids drops, makes big plays for Eagles

The Eagles and Giants both still have to play Tom Brady and the New England Patriots heading down the stretch and that is a game both these teams could easily lose, because the Patriots this year resemble the 16-0 Patriots team from the 2007 season. But give this defense 27 points at home and Dallas should expect to win. Half of their games are yet to be played, but this could be the crushing blow that the Cowboys had thus far avoided.

The Eagles were coming off a awful loss to Carolina, which included seven dropped passes by receivers.

The Cowboys have lost five games in a row and only sit a game and a half out of first place in the division. Barring a surprising hot streak from Washington, it sure looks like the Giants or Eagles will represent this division in the playoffs. Each team had more rushing yards than passing, as both quarterbacks opted for safe passes rather than take shots downfield.
