Jorge Mendes Expects Cristiano Ronaldo To Finish His Career At Real Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to finish his career at Real Madrid, according to his agent Jorge Mendes, seemingly ruling out a sensational return to Manchester United.
Speaking during a new documentary, Cristiano said his boy “doesn’t need a mother, just me – having a father is enough”.
Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 United games and won three Premier League titles, two League Cups, the FA Cup, the Champions League and the Club World Cup during his six illustrious years in Manchester.
“This is my best year, I’m playing the way I like, I’m very happy”.
“In my mind, I’m always the best”. I don’t care what people think, what they say.
“It changed everything, to have Cristiano in the family”, said Real Madrid star Ronaldo.
Arsene Wenger says he’s not interested in who wins the Ballon d’Or, or any other individual award in football, saying that pressure on players to set themselves apart from teammates has had a negative effect on a few careers.
“Perhaps for you, Messi is the best; in my head, I am the best – and everyone should think that about ourselves”. I will say this answer all the time because the future nobody knows, but I’m good here.
Cristiano Ronaldo believes Manchester United are a shadow of the all-conquering outfit they were under Sir Alex Ferguson. I feel like I’m at home.
He added: “People speculate I was with this girl or another, or there was a surrogate mother”. He’s going through a tough spell now. It doesn’t surprise me but sometimes it makes me exhausted.
“Nobody knows what will happen next year”. That’s why Chelsea won’t let him go: he’s the only person able to react and to get it back. “This is the way I see my life till the end of my life, this is what I want and what I want to be”.
