Jose Canseco hopes to support Caitlyn Jenner by living like her

“In the very beginning, I didn’t understand it, so I was kind of like, against it”, Canseco reportedly stated. Though I would argue that a truly well-intentioned friend looking to show their support for someone who is part of a marginalized community would actually listen to that person’s experience and recognize that living like _ involves so much more than a “costume”.

As for his own personal trial journey, “The only thing I can do is confirm it”, he continued to say.

It’s a odd way to show support, but let’s just hope his heart is in the right place.

When Jenner revealed she was transgendered earlier this year, Canseco admitted he wasn’t initially comfortable with the idea. The “I am Cait” and “Keeping up with the Kardashians” star was awarded the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at last month’s ESPYs.

In other news, back in October Canseco almost shot one of his fingers off while cleaning one of his guns in his Las Vegas home.

Canseco told the New York Daily News he “will be dressing up and living as a woman for a week”.

“I can’t say exactly how it’s going to be done yet”, he added.
