Joy Behar Scolds Clinton For Laughing At The Thought Of Strangling Fiorina
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said on Tuesday she was not ready to support a formal declaration of war against Islamic State militants, although she said the United States needs to improve its efforts to fight the group. John McCain responded that Clinton had “a total lack of appreciation for the crisis facing veterans’ health care” and urged her to apologize. Not everybody was satisfied with what they heard from the candidate and FOX25’s Sharman Sacchetti was there. She added: “Privatization is a betrayal, plain and simple and I am not going to let it happen”.
At the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Derry, Clinton also called for better access to health care for the growing number of women veterans.
A more recent CNN investigation found the problem is actually getting worse – veterans continue to wait months for care at a few VA facilities, and a September federally funded report concluded the agency remains “plagued” by problems including growing bureaucracy, staffing challenges and unsustainable costs.
Her campaign has pointed to plans circulated by the conservative Concerned Veterans for America that would seek to privatize the Veterans Health Administration. She stated she was involved about calls by Republicans to denationalise VA services “because I do not believe in that will work”.
Clinton now has no plans to campaign Wednesday on Veterans Day, but General Wesley Clark, retired four-star General and former North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Supreme Allied Commander Europe, will headline four events for Clinton throughout Iowa.
He said he wasn’t happy with her answer, saying, “It’s a lot of beating around the bush, I mean I don’t think you’re ever fully satisfied with an answer from a politician”.
Tickets are available for $1,000 to attend the event and $2,700 for the event and a photo with Clinton.
