Judy Murray reveals Strictly Come Dancing favourites

Their participation was confirmed on today’s edition of The One Show (27 August) when they joined presenters Alex Jones and Adil Ray in the studio to discuss taking part. If X Factor loses share [of viewers], then that’s real revenue to a commercial business….there are no consequences if Strictly takes a hit.
While Strictly beat X Factor in the ratings previous year, ITV has refreshed the show’s format and judging panel line-up for 2015.
And ITV’s top boss Peter Fincham, 59, accused BBC chiefs of trying to “clip The X Factor’s wings” with their move.
An X Factor spokeswoman explained: “ITV has the Rugby World Cup this autumn and some of those matches are on Saturdays so we have a slightly different pattern to our schedule”.
The news was confirmed at the Edinburgh TV Festival by Charlotte Moore, Controller of BBC One.
Following on from that, the show will return a couple of weeks later with the first live show of the series, and we can’t wait to see how this year’s group get on.
The BBC’s head of TV Danny Cohen has also brushed off any criticism, insisting: “These things happen all the time”. “We’ve noticed suddenly Emmerdale finds itself up against EastEnders with astonishing regularity”.
