Junior dos Santos-Alistair Overeem bout added to UFC Fight Night card
You know, for money this time, because apparently the royalty checks he’s collecting for being the first guy to use the middle finger as a taunt aren’t quite cutting it. The 30-year-old was announced to meet Matt Brown at UFC 189 in July, but the fight was later scrapped when Diaz revealed the UFC hadn’t contacted him about the matchup before the announcement. Topping the card is a UFC lightweight championship bout between newly crowned champion Rafael dos Anjos and three-time World Extreme Cagefighting title challenger Donald Cerrone. My guess is that his excuse went a little something like this… The two were scheduled to fight on separate occasions, but neither fight ever took place. Johnson has won four of his last five in UFC competition, most notably defeating Edson Barboza at UFC Fight Night: Bigfoot vs. Mir.
Most recently, Diaz made headlines for an outside-the-cage brawl that also involved his brother Nick Diaz and fellow UFC lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov at a WSOF event. Anyone care to take a guess at how the betting lines will look for this one?

On Monday afternoon, during an segment of Fox Sports Live, it was revealed fan favorite Nate Diaz will make his return to the Octagon against Michael Johnson at UFC on FOX 17 in December.
Johnson (16-9, 8-5 UFC) had won four in a row before a bout with Beneil Dariush earlier this month, where he lost a very controversial decision.
