Justin Bieber breaks down while performing in Los Angeles
Bieber later deleted the tweet, posting a simple Instagram pic with an image of a peace sign with the Eiffel Tower in the middle, designed by artist Jean Jullien, with the hashtag “PrayForParis”. And the hits “Where Are U Now” and “What Do You Mean” follow suit.
“It’s like they want me to be flawless, but they don’t even know I’m hurting”, he sings in an honest tone.
Bieber, who briefly removed his hat to reveal his peroxided hair, answered affirmatively to both questions, telling the audience: “I’m happy overall, I’m a little stressed out, but I’m happy. That felt good. Like I wasn’t just doing it because I did something stupid”. For example, “I’ll Show You”, a track that is produced by Skrillex, features a custom Skrillex emoji. “We’re going to win this together”. “Why am I crying so hard?” he asked himself.
“You get lonely, you know, when you’re on the road. It’s like God I’m giving it all I got, sometimes I’m weak and I’m gonna do it, and it’s like I’m not giving myself grace, I’m just like understanding, that’s just how it is”. The singer learned of the heartbreaking attacks on Paris that killed more than 100 people, and during one of his three shows, he took the stage to say a prayer for the victims.
Having said that, I’m sure many people will still use this as an opportunity to criticize Justin, but it’s a catch 22. “Like, I could give two shits if someone liked me or not”, Justin said, as footage played of him yelling and trying to punch someone.
But in an interview with Britain’s New Musical Express, Bieber argued that he had been held to a different standard than other teen stars and said of his life now, “I’m struggling just to get through the days”.
Today (Nov. 13) Justin dropped his new album goal as One Directioners celebrated the release of Made in the A.M. “Our objective in life is not for ourselves; it’s to help other people and to use our light and what God’s given us to just share that with the world”.
