Justin Bieber just dropped videos for every song from his Purpose album
“It showed a human side to me that just showed growth”.
What’s most incredible about “Purpose” is how Bieber is able to blend coherent, intelligent lyrics with fun beats without one overpowering the other.
Besides the pivotal roast, in which Bieber admitted he “turned a lot of people off over the past few years”, he’s also brought his contrition mission to several other platforms.
But he’s back – in a big way, if the packed November 13 show, “An Evening With Justin Bieber“, in California’s Staples Center is any indication. Despite anyone’s feelings on Justin Biebers as a person, there wasn’t all that much to say about Justin Bieber as a musician.
A Coldplay gig at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles on Friday night was nearly cancelled after the band heard about the attacks.
Last month, Bieber walked out of a Spanish radio station interview because he didn’t like the line of questioning. His redemption was a recurring topic during the 90-minute event.
Having said that, I’m sure many people will still use this as an opportunity to criticize Justin, but it’s a catch 22.
The critically praised “What Do You Mean?” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and “Sorry” debuted at No. 2.
In his first arena performance since releasing his fourth studio album, the 21-year-old singing sensation was admittedly a bit rusty and lamented that a speaker delay was affecting his vocal ability. “We just died laughing because we can’t find, like we can, but we can’t (sic), ’cause I won’t make a decision”, he tells Usmagazine.com. Bieber (and his writers) are at least blunt, and that helps in the case of “Love Yourself”, co-written by Ed Sheeran.
Bieber quickly rebounded and crooned a couple of songs while simultaneously skateboarding on the stage.
“They tried to crucify me/ I ain’t ideal, won’t deny/ My reputation’s on the line/ So I’m working on a better me”, he sings on “Life Is Worth Living”, whose imagery (along with the album cover’s photo of a shirtless Bieber in a prayer-like stance) references his Christian faith.
“Some dope vibes?” Rick Rubin only does dope vibes, Justin Bieber.
This isn’t the first time that Bieber and Grande have teamed up. I was a wholesome pop star who was so incredible who had nice hair and a f***ing image that no one could ever live up to.
