Justin Timberlake Pitches Seth Meyers “Late Night” Theme Songs
Unfortunately the pop sensation failed miserably to impress Seth Meyers with his comically bad attempts, even when he tried to freestyle one at the end. “Catch the show that’s down and dirty, on every night at 11:30″, Timberlake sings.
For example, the first song is clearly meant for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon“.
A pre-taped segment featured Meyers working in his office when Timberlake stopped by for a surprise visit. “I was just trying not to crash my auto into the wall”, Kasich told Meyers.
“I think you wrote that song for Jimmy Fallon and he said no”, grilled the Late Night host.
Kasich hit his familiar campaign stump talking points of caring for “people in the shadows”, pointing to those with drug addictions and mental illnesses as a reason for expanding Medicaid in Ohio, something he has been criticized for doing by more conservative candidates.
“There’s like seven more debates to go”.
“I got a chance to do a little North and South. It’s the best way for guys like you and me to dance”, Kasich joked. Then, referencing Kasich’s Pennsylvania roots: “You’re a Steelers fan who lives in Ohio. Get ready, everybody”, he said. “That’s when I knew it was time to leave”.
