Juventus Want Permanent Deal For Chelsea Winger Cuadrado
The loan deal for the Colombian winger did not include an option to buy, but Juve are keen to seal a permanent deal for the player once the transfer window reopens in January.
The 27-year old Cuadrado was signed by the Blues in the middle of February this year from Italian club Fiorentina in exchange for midfielder Mohamed Salah on loan and was given a four-and-a-half-year, $23.3 million contract.
The 27-year-old disappointed in his short spell at Stamford Bridge as he failed to open his goal scoring account and provided just one assist in 15 appearances for Chelsea.
Chelsea supporting punters here in the Transfer Tavern are deliberating the latest news they have just read in Teamtalk – with the publication suggesting that Juventus are hoping to secure a £14 million deal to sign Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado.
According to Goal Italia, “La Vecchia Signora” is interested in purchasing the former Fiorentina star who joined the “Blues” last January, when Mourinho’s team put Euro 33 million on the table to sign him from the “Viola” club. But he has settled in well at Juve starting in three Serie A games and appearing off the bench in three more as well as making starts in both the side’s Champions League games.
