Juventus want Pogba to renew his contract – Raiola
Depay joined United last summer for £25m from PSV Eindhoven but has failed to replicate the form that saw him finish the top scorer in Holland in the 2014/15 season, scoring just seven goals last term.
Paul Pogba’s agent has suggested the France worldwide could opt to remain with Serie A champions Juventus despite continued speculation linking him with a return to Manchester United.
The 23-year-old believes Portugal’s triumph means captain Cristiano Ronaldo would be the worthy victor of the Ballon d’Or in January next year, given he also claimed the Champions League with Madrid last season.
After Real Madrid ended their interest in Pogba, Manchester United have been given the green light to secure a record-breaking transfer fee for the 23-year-old, worth around a total of €120 million.
But the news about our potential signing of the Frenchman is not all good because the French sports website Le10sport claims that our Premier League rivals Manchester United are also looking at Sissoko as an alternative to their reported target Paul Pogba.
“When further quizzed about the possibility of leaving Juve for United, Pogba said on ESPN: “I don’t know”.
“Italy had a great European Championship and it’s a shame that they went out on penalties”.
When pushed again on which club he prefers, Pogba opted against making a choice by adding: “I’ll take all three”.
Asked what Real mean to him, Pogba said: “They won the Champions League this year”.
United have already made three eye-catching purchases this summer; Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. “[Antoine] Griezmann has had an wonderful year”, he said.
