Kaka reveals Benzema move, £22m Man Utd target bid
Former Brazil midfielder, Kaka, has said that Arsenal might find it difficult to sign Karim Benzema from Real Madrid. However, Carlo Ancelotti’s side were simply no match for Luis Enrique’s unstoppable Barcelona, ultimately failing to deliver a trophy back to the Spanish capital which resulted in the dismissal for the Italian manager.
“I think Benzema is one of the best forwards at this moment, so I don’t think Real Madrid will give him away so easily”, Kaka said. He has brought experienced goalkeeper Petr Cech in from Chelsea-with erstwhile No. 1 Wojciech Szczesny leaving for AS Roma-although as yet, he is yet to bring in outfield players who can compete for a place in the Gunners’ starting XI.
Arsenal have been linked with the Argentina worldwide striker Gonzalo Higuain before of course, and as reported by the Arsenal transfer rumours at the time, a couple of years ago, the deal was all but done until Napoli swooped in with a better offer and took him from Real Madrid to Serie A.
Finally, former Arsenal target Alessio Romagnoli has explained why he chose to move to AC Milan this summer.
